Compressive
The compressive load cell range starts at a load capacity of 20kg with a small
button load cell manufactured from high strength aluminium. At the other end
of the scale, we can supply high strength stainless steel load cells with full environmental protection and calibrated to several hundred tonnes.

Load Pins
Over the years, Strainstall's enormous experience of producing bespoke load
pins that meet very specific client requirements means that almost every
application variant is available within our range.

The benefit to our customers is clear - whatever you are looking for, you've just
found it.

Add to this the fact that we mount our strain gauges in the axial hole along the
pins' centre line, to provide outstanding protection from the elements, and you
have, arguably, the most impressive Load Pin range available anywhere.

Shackles
Shackle Load Cells are designed as a simple and practical method of obtaining
tensile load measurement.

The Marine and Industrial shackle ranges have an innovative stainless steel pin, manufactured complete with anti-rotation plate and fitted with a loading bobbin.
Load capacities start from 2te. and rise to 600te. and special variants are available.

Tensile Load Cells
The tensile range of load cells can be generally divided into two main types;
flat plate and tensile columns.

All tensile links are manufactured from high grade stainless steel, cover a range
from 4te. to 60te. and can be considered an effective alternative to the load shackle.
The columns have threaded ends, suitable for swivel bearings and are
manufactured from high strength aluminium for low capacities and stainless steel
for higher capacities.

Under-hook Weighers
Under-hook Weighers are available in a number of formats including self
displaying and telemetry load cells and load measuring shackles.

Strainstall also produce conventional On-hook Weighers ranging from 200kg to
5te, having options for telemetry readout and data logging.

Pressure Transducers
Strainstall produce a family of pressure transducers that range from the simplest 'gauge' pressure measurement, to absolute differential measurement with high
line pressure. The transducers are generally suitable for use with liquid or gas.
There are also specific transducers designed to measure liquid depth.

Weighing Kits
Many of the load cells and instrumentation can be combined into a weighing kit,
which is contained in a specific carrying / storage case. Options available in these
kits include infra-red zeroing units, battery chargers and telemetry.
